These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of CoachEd (the "Service"), operated by CoachEd ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your country) to use the Service. By using it, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

2. Your account

You are responsible for the information you provide, for keeping your credentials secure, and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

3. The Service

CoachEd provides AI-assisted personal training and nutrition guidance, workout and meal logging, daily plans, progress tracking, and related features. We may add, change, or remove features at any time.

4. Not medical advice

CoachEd, including the AI assistant "Ed", provides general fitness and nutrition information for educational purposes only. It is not medical, dietary, or professional advice and is not a substitute for consultation with a qualified professional. Consult your physician before beginning any exercise or nutrition program. You use the Service and act on its suggestions at your own risk.

5. Subscriptions and billing

The Service offers a free tier and paid plans. Paid plans are sold and billed through our payment provider, Paddle, which acts as the Merchant of Record. Paid plans renew automatically each billing period until cancelled. You can cancel anytime; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period, and you keep access until then. Prices and plan limits may change with reasonable notice. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including: using it for unlawful purposes; attempting to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to it; scraping or abusing the AI; or uploading content that is illegal, harmful, or infringes others' rights.

7. Your content

You retain ownership of the content you submit (e.g. logs, messages, photos). You grant us a limited license to store and process that content solely to operate and improve the Service. You are responsible for the content you provide.

8. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by us and protected by applicable laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or content beyond using the Service as permitted.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or use the Service in a way that may cause harm or legal liability.

10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your use of the Service or reliance on its content.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Service. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
